Admission and requirements

Admission Requirements

Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Food Science, Biotechnology, Biological Science, or a related field
Minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale for Master's degree holders
Minimum GPA of 3.50 on a 4.00 scale for Bachelor's degree holders
The Program Committee and the Dean of the Graduate School may grant exemptions
Three letters of recommendation from individuals qualified to assess academic potential
Statement of purpose indicating why you want to pursue a career in Food Biotechnology

Documents Required

Completed application form
Two copies of transcripts from previous college and university work
Four photographs (1 × 1.5 inch)
Two copies of residence registration and ID card (Thai applicants) or passport (non-Thai applicants)
All documents must be signed and submitted in person within the application period

English Test Exemption

TOEFL iBT 90 or PBT 575
IELTS Academic overall band 6.5 or above
Scores valid for 2 years
Degree from a native English-speaking country
AU-EPT Exemption Applicants who do not meet the above scores may take the AU English Proficiency Test (AU-EPT) administered by the Graduate School.
